more like an oaked Chardonnay; nutty, sweet with a
slightly charred aspect and a hint of sauerkraut. It
had a caramel approach and a heavy texture that
coats the palate, rich and oily, smooth but lacking
enough acidity to freshen it up and with a touch of
heat on the finish.

struck match to the nose and slightly charred
component on the palate. Acidity makes its presence
felt immediately with very zesty, citrus component
all the way through and underneath a toffee-caramel
sun-layer. A little ageing to soften the acidity
should give a very good wine.
