1. Château du Coing de St. Fiacre 2014 Muscadet de Sevre et Maine, Sur Lie, Pay Nantais	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£10.38	12% A full, aromatic nose. Clean and fresh - but not light – it showed good texture with a sharp dryness at the edges that cries out for some seafood.
2. Domaine du Villargeau 2014 Coteaux du Giennois, Central Vineyards	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£11.22	12.5% A restrained nose for Sauvignon Blanc, developing in the glass. Lemon sharp with a gooseberry greenness, a touch tart, yet still rich with decent character. You need to like sherbet though.
3. Domaine Vigneau-Chevreau 2013 Clos de Rougemont Vouvray Sec, Touraine	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£15.30	12.5% Definitely a hint of oak on the nose adding some warmth and depth. Unripe apple attack which goes to a slightly browning apple at the end. Long and very, very dry - yet lightly honeyed-fruit with ripe apple sweetness along the way.
4. Domaine Thibault (André Dezat et Fils) 2013 Pouilly-Fumé, Central Vineyards	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£15.36	12.5% A lovely nose, forward citrus notes with a touch of light smoke. On the palate it was delicate and elegant with herbal bitterness, rounded with some lightly sweet spice; a little buttery, dry/bitter with a touch of nettle and some saltiness.
5. Domaine Jean-Paul Balland 2013 Sancerre, Central Vineyards	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£17.04	13% A perfumed, syrupy ripe nose with a grape-sweet aroma. The palate was drier than the nose suggests; a mild, herbal bitterness on the palate but ripe. A touch soft at the edges, the finish was a little disappointing.
6. Domaine Jean-Paul Balland 2014 Sancerre Rosé, Central Vineyards	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£16.80	13% A smoky dry nose, closed. A little creamy yet metallic as well, fresh but very dry (...too dry?).
7. Domaine Jean-Paul Balland 2012 Grand Cuvée Sancerre, Central Vineyards	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£20.94	13.5% A striking nose, oily with a touch of marzipan; tropical notes yet raw/musky. It was well-textured, oak coming through  with a beautiful balance of spicy, nutty flavours and a long finish.
8. Domaine Jean-Paul Balland 2013 Sancerre Rouge, Central Vineyards	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£17.04	13% It looked older than the vintage and gave a ripe nose with delicate raspberries. There was a metallic aspect that was not unpleasant, but needed more character and maybe extra bottle age.

Couly-Dutheil 2013 Les Gravieres d’Amador Abbé du Turpenay, Touraine	Loire	France	Richard Granger	£12.48	12.5% A hint of barnyard on the nose along with raspberry which carried through to the palate. Lean at the front with zesty red berries, dry tannins at the edge of the palate, there was a tinny-metallic finish that was a little disconcerting.
